As part of the Metronet project, the DryVac excavator was called on to clear materials from the rail corridor and drain, as well as excavation for the installation of a noise wall. Cleaning the drain behind a retaining wall alongside a live rail track was no problem with the reach of our remote-controlled arm and 10’’ hose. Height and swing delimiter ensured no accidental contact with rail power lines. No water, no mess, all dry material stored in the onboard 8 m3 debris container. The noise wall installation required precision non-destructive digging around existing structures. Our DryVac delivered powerful excavation with a gentle touch. Precision NDD, supported by the onboard air-spade. No mess, all dry material stored in the onboard 8 m3 debris container for reuse. Air-lance, air-spade and jack hammer are all part of the DryVac accessories. No additional tooling or power source required, saving costs and keeping the site compact.
