Delivering Efficiency & Productivity

Looking for fast, efficient and safe excavation?

Our DryVac removes bottlenecks and improves project performance, all while keeping people and infrastructure safe. Precision non-destructive digging avoids costly and time-consuming over-excavation and reinstatement costs. Reduced people and equipment keep any site compact and tidy.

Impacted by low output of conventional vacuum or hydro excavators?

Our DryVac with its 10’’/250mm diameter suction hose and 24,700 CFM airflow produces vastly larger output (60m3 +/day), while the use of air keeps it working uninterrupted and keeps materials dry.

Ready to embrace modern methods of construction?

Our DryVac brings modern technology to civil works, enabling precision construction, excavation inside shoring boxes, and efficient material removal. Remote-controlled operation and German-engineered suction technology ensure safety for operator and infrastructure.
Choose economics. Choose progress. Choose DryVac!

Safeguarding Existing Infrastructure

Need to move materials safely AND efficiently?

Working around existing underground utilities, switchyards and substations, pumping stations, pipelines, communications and fibre networks, rail infrastructure, mining operations, environmentally sensitive zones – these are just some of the areas where the DryVac provides safe and productive solutions.

Looking for faster, more efficient non-destructive digging (NDD)?

Applying non-destructive digging without compromising on project timelines, this is how our DryVac keeps infrastructure safe and projects moving.

Dealing with changing material conditions?

Sand, soil, gravel, slurry, clay, shale, rail ballast, ore - we move it safely and efficiently. If its in an awkward spot, our extension hoses will reach it.
Choose solutions. Choose productivity. Choose DryVac!

Enhancing Operator Safety

Keeping your team safe and your projects on track?

Remote controlled operation that removes confined space risks and reduces operator fatigue - so your teams stay safe and are more productive. Supported by full local training and support.

Do you want confidence in your programme delivery?

Avoid utility hits that can lead to injuries, costly delays, insurance claims, and reputation damage.

Looking to maximise efficiency and eliminate downtime?

Streamline operations with technology designed to keep work moving safely, smoothly, predictably, and without interruption.
Choose safety. Choose performance. Choose DryVac!

Preserving the Environment

Looking to eliminate water waste and reuse material as backfill?

Avoid wastage of water and materials by keeping it dry and using it as backfill.

Need to avoid damaging tree roots on your project?

Eliminate damage to roots or stripping bark by using water-free gentle but powerful air systems to break up ground and remove material.

Need to keep valuable resources out of landfill?

No water used = no waste produced, nothing added to landfill.
Choose efficiency. Choose the environment. Choose DryVac!

DryVac Vacuum Excavator FAQs

The DryVac changes how we perform non-destructive digging (NDD) and safe material removal. With its 10’’ / 250mm diameter suction tube it can move up to 80m³ in a day, making it considerably faster than conventional vacuum excavators. As it does not require water, it reduces environmental impact and eliminates slurry disposal. Remote-controlled operation enhances safety and productivity around existing infrastructure.

The MTS DryVac is suitable for an exceptionally wide range of applications across civil construction, industrial facilities and mining infrastructure. It safely removes almost any material while protecting existing services. With its high-pressure air and external hydraulic supply points, it can also be used as the power source for auxiliary tools like jack hammers, compactors, moles etc.

No. One of the main characteristics of the MTS DryVac is that it provides superior outcomes in the areas of safety, productivity and environment. This has a direct positive impact on construction (no damage to existing infrastructure, no over-excavation, fast and efficient material removal, no time wasted leaving site), safety (improved operator safety, no manual digging, no service strikes) and the environment (no water wasted, reuse of material, protecting plant roots). Project footprints and timelines are reduced resulting in cost and time savings.

An MTS DryVac can remove gravel, sand, soil, clay, ballast, water, mud, demolition debris and more.

The DryVac uses different technology to suck up the material, which makes it superior in terms on safety, productivity and environmental impact when compared to a conventional vacuum excavator.
