Working at the client site in Nhulunbuy, NT, the DryVac was deployed to excavate a trench under live caustic pipelines. Survey data was incomplete, with various services not mapped. Live services could not be isolated which required an extremely cautious approach in this high-risk area. Utilising the remote-controlled power arm with its extensive reach, the job was completed without any incidents and without impacting the operations of the site.
